Fantastic opportunity to join a successful international fashion business as a Sales Manager / Key Account Manager for an exciting new childrenswear brand.

The business has an impressive portfolio of brands which retail across the UK high street and they are looking for the right person to launch a new Childrenswear brand from the ground up, after its massive success in elsewhere in Europe. This is a great opportunity to make the role your own and for you to be master of your own destiny! It is a chance to utilise your existing contacts, connections and experience and apply them to this new venture, with the support of a great, close knit team.

Personality is key and although I am looking for someone driven and dynamic, you must also be friendly, humble and approachable.

Childrenswear Branded Sales Account Manager - The Role

  • Developing a strategic sales plan for identifying and securing the right UK customers for the brand, following up on exciting new business opportunities.
  • Setting and achieving seasonal sales targets.
  • Analyse sales data to make informed decisions and to improve forecasting and planning procedures.
  • Consistently ensure that the right product is being offered in the right place, at the right time, and that the customer’s needs are considered and met.
  • As new retailers are brought on board you must work with them ensure that sales staff are fully trained and have thorough and up-to-date product and brand knowledge.
  • You are accountable for developing and nurturing close B2B relationships.

Childrenswear Branded Sales Account Manager – The Person

You will have a great deal of freedom and autonomy to drive your own ideas and strategies, so you must be self-motivated and results driven as an individual, with proven history in a similar position(s). I need a self-starter with a proven track record in strategic sales.

  • Solid experience in new business and Key Account Management is required.
  • A background within childrenswear branded sales is preferable.
  • Knowledge of the fashion industry, B2B sales and store operations is essential.
  • Ideal candidate will be personable, friendly and with a positive outlook. As a brand representative it is also important to be well presented and reflect the brand ethos.
  • The ability to develop and maintain relationships is key.
  • Must have experience of setting and working to sales targets.
  • Must be organised, able to manage own time and with a head for numbers.
  • Ability to travel within UK and Europe fairly frequently is required.
  • Must hold full UK driving licence.
