Job Description

A fantastic opportunity to join an exciting and dynamic supplier to the UK High Street in their small but perfectly formed office in North London, you will be responsible for Creative Product Development and Account Management. You will be the main point of contact for the creative retail buying teams, and the factory, building strong relationships is key. 

You will be responsible for creative development, trend analysis and comp shopping, targeting development to the customer and incorporating their concepts and themes. As well as taking briefs from customers and presenting collections and new concepts.

Creative Product Developer / Account Manager – Men’s Casualwear – The role

  • Work with the High Street Buying and Design teams to understand the needs of the Customer. Use this information and your understanding of factory capabilities to develop strong trend led commercial product.
  • Stay updated with fashion trends and product directions.
  • Work with the Design, Merchandising and Technical teams within the factory to ensure the Product Offer is backed-up by excellent service and quality.
  • You will manage the development critical path, ensuring samples and developments are on time for customer sign offs.
  • You will be a key contact for the Buyers, and Design Teams in UK Retail, you will develop and present ranges specific for each retailers needs and you will be confident presenting this.
  • You will have an understanding of costs and processes which can improve margins.

Creative Product Developer / Account Manager – Men’s Casualwear – The candidate

  • Experience within Account Management or Product Development,  with a strong creative and commercial background
  • You will be very trend aware, ideally having a background in men’s casualwear.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels as well as strong relationship building skills.
  • Have a thorough understanding of offshore sampling procedures, factory sourcing and critical path management.
  • You will have a passion for product, be dynamic and an excellent team player.
