This a fantastic opportunity for a strong fashion forward designer to join a successful and well established supplier of nightwear and lounge wear fashion. You will be part of their small but rapidly growing team based in Leicester.

This opportunity would suit a designer with experience designing nightwear and/or loungewear who has 5yrs industry experience and is looking for a new challenge, career progression and longevity – with a company that value their staff and offer the chance for you to make your mark and be an integral part of the team.

They are looking for an individual that has a passion for the fashion industry and a good knowledge of the UK High Street with the likes of Joules, White Stuff, Boden, Oysho, between others. You will be a designer first but will have strong account management skills and experience in working within the names mentioned above.

Nightwear Designer & Account Manager- The role:

  • As a Fashion Designer you will be responsible for designing a new range of trend inspired nightwear and loungewear across mens, ladies and childrenswear as well as managing your own accounts.
  • Source new fast fashion customers, ideally from existing contacts, and nurture/develop accounts.
  • Conduct market and trend research, through blogs etc. and prepare exciting mood and range boards for customers… must be a real trend spotter.
  • This position is customer facing and will need someone that is comfortable working within a team to ensure fantastic product and service.
  • Be a point of contact for your own customers, meet with customers and take briefs, present ranges.

Nightwear Designer & Account Manager - The Candidate:

  • Ideally 3/5yrs experience working in a similar environment.
  • A good knowledge of nightwear and/or loungewear across ladies, mens and childrenswear.
  • You will need to be creative, with the ability to turn designs around fast.
  • Used to working in a fast paced design environment and taking responsibility.
  • Sound knowledge of garment construction and ability to put specs together.
  • Confident CAD skills on Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience in liaising with manufacturers.
  • Highly organised, on the ball and driven by processes.
