Job Description

This fast growing WW brand is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can oversee their retail and wholesale warehouse and goods in department.

Managing a team of 12 you will bring in process and structure, which in turn will result in leaner efficiency.

You will be joining a dynamic business which is currently distributing globally, and holds a strong online presence and this is set to only get bigger due to mass expansion plans for the future.

For the right candidate quick career progression is almost a definite.

Warehouse Manager- The Role:

  • Responsible for orchestrating incoming deliveries from the UK based factories- be it finished goods and raw materials
  • Co-ordinate deliveries to our customers throughout the UK and Internationally
  • Booking the transport into the warehouse DC
  • Ensure all documentation is created and accurate to shipment to avoid unnecessary delays
  • Manage inventory/ delivery schedule
  • Update sales and production teams on shipment dates and any delays
  • Manage a team of 12 warehouse staff
  • Liaise with the transport companies to make sure transport is running on time
  • Able to negotiate and analyse most cost efficient shipping methods in the interests of the company
  • Able to manage Wordpress and process web orders for pick, pack and delivery
  • Document and implement company policies and procedures
  • Organise staff rotas
  • You will use Excel and other reports and be accountable for inputting the necessary data

Warehouse Manager - The Person:

  • You will have previous experience of managing a warehouse for a fashion business.
  • You will have experience of managing a small team.
  • Excellent IT skills and previous experience of working on systems is paramount
  • Must have previous experience of implementing process and systems
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • You will be organised and highly analytical and able to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Familiar with Stock Management and EDI from a Retail Environment
