Job Description

A very exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing womenswear brands in North London.

They are looking for a bright, proactive and personable person to join their business as a Head of Wholesale. You will be reactive, fearless and hold the ability and drive to open new doors, both in the UK and internationally. You will also continue to nurture and grow existing Wholesale clients. Working in close conjunction and managing a team of Account Managers you will lead them to drive results.

Wholesale Manager- The Role:

  • Overseeing and developing the Wholesale team, managing a team of 3.
  • Able to plan and lead departmental strategy to achieve forecast.
  • Planning and managing weekly distribution with warehouse manager in line with critical path.
  • Creating and submitting departmental forecasts / re-forecasts.
  • Managing Critical path to ensure optimum trading opportunities.
  • Maintaining and growing accounts to continue current trade whilst introducing new product areas to drive incremental sales.
  • Collating weekly trade and presenting back to fellow management team on key highlights, opportunities, and risks.
  • Range planning with partners.
  • Negotiating, budgeting, and costing, working with the finance team.
  • Keeping track of lead times, delivery timelines and resolving issues related to shipment discrepancies. Communicating deliveries to partners.
  • Preparing seasonal reports analysing prices, territories, and ranges.
  • Strong analytic and reporting skills, this role is admin heavy with some manual processes.

Wholesale Manager- The Person:

  • A proven track record in meeting and/or exceeding targets
  • Fashion product knowledge is essential.
  • Experience in managing a team.
  • Must have buying experience and able to create own ranges.
  • Must have strong Excel knowledge and skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of working across different regions.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Flexibility
