A very exciting opportunity for a hungry Wholesale Manager/Business Development Manager to come and join this premium luggage brand and play an integral part in helping to support them through their new identity transition.

What can you bring to the table? This role is very much about your key contacts and driving conversations with new retailers to fall in line with the new Wholesale strategy. You will have contacts within the Luxury sector, along with key online players.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work for an ambitious brand with great sales potential.

Wholesale Manager - The Role:

  • Drive conversations with new target customers to fall in line with new brand identity.
  • Implementing a comprehensive global sales strategy to accelerate growth and further drive brand awareness and visibility in line with new brands strategy and vision.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts globally to maximise and deepen key account relationships and future partnership opportunities.
  • Report to the Commercial Director & set sales targets and budgets and closely monitor performance against these targets and the budget to maximise performance and drive profitable sales.
  • Prepare strategic documents for priority partners with dedicated and/or bespoke strategies
  • Manage order confirmation and purchase orders on the system to ensure all shipments are going out in a timely manner.
  • Manage the market calendar and ensure all clients are being booked in as per the strategy laid out by commercial director and CEO.
  • Manage stock swaps and reorders in season and proactively look at growing the business through reorder opportunities.
  • Travel to newer markets when necessary to build new relationships with clients. 

Wholesale Manager - The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in the luxury and/or premium lifestyle sector.
  • A bulging contacts book of relevant buyers in the UK and international.
  • A demonstrable track record of building commercially successful relationships with premium retailers.
  • An entrepreneurial and tenacious approach to identifying, developing and closing leads.
  • Experience and knowledge of licenced arrangements with third party brands and celebrities is desirable.
  • A passion for travel would be advantageous.
