This is an exciting Quality Manager opportunity, ideal for someone looking to take ownership within a role with growth potential, and to have greater contact with wider group of stakeholders (UK and Internationally).

We are looking for a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity (apparel), or has held a similar position within a Quality  environment.  AQL experience is essential; and a background as a roving Auditor/Trainer, or familiarity with 3rd party inspections would be of interest.

You will have proven leadership skills as well as a structured and planned approach to all QC  activities. The successful candidate will be required to review and implement and streamline workflow through SOP to ensure the department is efficient and cost effective. 

Quality Manager – The Job Outline

Manage  a  QC teams  daily workloads and related functions across 4 warehouses Ability to lead, support, train and develop teams including day to day HR requirements  Supporting the QC AQL Auditing  process functions. Oversee the Returns process. Liaise and support our  factories with Auditing related issues. Interface with the QA   and Warehouse  Departments Work with Senior management to implement process and output targets Produce weekly/Monthly efficiency reports / KPI’s Quality  performance and  QC stock accuracy Project Managing and supporting Strategic initiatives such as new process and technology Occasional overseas travel will be required

Quality Manager – Skills & Experience

Sound knowledge and working experience of the AQL  process essential. Knowledge of garment construction Experience  of inventory systems such as ERP / SAP preferred Proven knowledge and experience  within all aspects of  Quality Control.

  • Knowledge of Lingerie, Swimwear, Athleisure or sportswear QC preferred

Ability to prioritise and plan daily / weekly plans Strong People management, Team working/ problem solving and service orientated Excellent communication, prioritization and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively Proficient in MS Office
