Description

As Sales Administrator/Assistant Account Manager you will be working for an established fashion manufacturer, supplying to major e-tail and retailers.  Part of a busy commercial menswear team, you will provide support to the Sales Account Manager, building and maintaining relationships with customers, mills, factories and internal stakeholders.

The ideal applicant will have some industry experience, and will enjoy the administration and analytical side, and ‘thrive on making things happen’.  You will be attentive to the detail, and be a highly organised individual.  This is a great opportunity to learn and grow your responsibilities within a successful international business.

Sales Administrator / Assistant Account Manager  – The Role:

  • Assist in the processing of sales orders accurately and maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage and input data and generate reports to track sales performance.
  • Organise and distribute of fabric samples and developments for approval.
  • Collaborate with Sales Account Managers to develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Assist in conducting market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and provide valuable insights into competitor offers.
  • Work closely other internal teams including Technical, Design, and Merchandising
  • Liaise with suppliers internationally and manage critical path data and timelines, raising any problems to the teams.
  • Support to the sales team with day to day admin, including organizing meetings, managing calendars, preparing sales reports, maintaining client databases, and organizing sales materials.

Sales Administrator / Assistant Account Manager - The Candidate

  • Experience in a similar role is preferred
  • A passion for the Fashion Industry and an understanding of clothing manufacturing is essential
  • Knowledge of the development process and critical paths is desirable
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Numerate and analytical
  • Word & Excel knowledge to an intermediate level is essential
  • Excellent time management
  • Highly organised
  • Clear & confident communication and presentation skills.
