Description

As an experienced Account Manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing key account management and development of a folio of clients. To ensure every aspect of the client’s contractual requirements are met in full.  This will include maintenance of price, stock management, accurate forecasting, and on time full delivery of customer roll outs. Utilising project plans, internal communications, provision of customer KPI reporting and adherence to service level agreements.

This opportunity is looking for someone who excels at communication, and who enjoys managing relationships and the detail. 

Account Manager – The Job Outline

  • Full contract commercial  and client relationship management and  responsibility.
  • Client retention through contract extensions and involvement with associated tendering activity.
  • On time in full delivery of client rollouts through use of critical path planning. Sales growth through active promotion of cross-selling, organic growth and account development.
  • Margin protection and growth through pricing reviews and price file maintenance.
  • Delivery of agreed service level agreements.
  • Accurate forecasting of client spend.
  • Maintenance of accurate client data including wearer wardrobe profiles.
  • Completion of relevant KPI and ad hoc reporting.
  • Management of client aged debt with in KPI.
  • Management of client orders and stock levels.
  • Management of associated Account Administrator.
  • Communicating and meeting on a regular basis with  all key internal stake holders (inc. design & product development, new business & marketing, supply chain and customer service teams etc) to ensure co-ordinated customer response.

Account Manager – The Person Specification

  • Proven B2B account management experience
  • Ideal background from within fashion/textiles, footwear or corporatewear, workwear/uniform sector would be advantageous. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels
  • Highly analytical, and skilled negotiator
  • High level of organisational skills and working flexibility
  • Awareness of situations requiring customer empathy
  • Able to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates pragmatic and practical management and development skills
  • Good level of project management
  • Proficiency in MSOffice (particularly EXCEL) and knowledge of internal reporting systems.
