A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an exciting and dynamic company based in London. They design and manufacture sunglasses and optical frames for the UK high street. Currently expanding and offering its employees fantastic progression opportunities.

Superlative customer service is essential to the growth of the business so we are looking for a really efficient Account Co-ordinator for the supply team who has a passion for providing excellent administration support, is forward thinking, has great communication and organisational skills, with great attention to detail.

The role will involve liaising directly both with factories in the Far East and with High Street and Independent customers in the UK. The job encompasses product administration, procurement of stock and materials, customer system administration, critical path management, planning of deliveries and B2B sales order processing.

This job will suit someone with at least two to three year’s work experience in a retail head office or retail supplier, primarily in a sales support / supply team role.

Account Co-ordinator Job Description

Sales administration - To work alongside the sales, design and merchandising team and ensure all the procedures emanating from the sale to the customer are managed efficiently and effectively. The key focus will be to ensure that orders are administered efficiently and delivered on time to our customers.

Range sheets – Receiving all the product and sales information from the sales team and producing the final sheets for each customer. This involves regular maintenance and meticulous attention to detail.

Sample administration – Assisting in the organisation and filing of samples received from our various suppliers and maintaining accurate records.

Purchasing & Delivery Schedule – Placing purchase order instructions (for both product and packaging) on our Far Eastern suppliers, checking order confirmations from the suppliers. Maintaining a customer delivery schedule.

Quality Control – Assisting in the administration of testing production samples and involvement in quality control issues, liaising with our Far East office.

Pre-production and production samples – Organisation of pre-production and production samples for customers and obtaining approval from customers to proceed to next stage.

Filing – Scrupulously maintaining all relevant customer, supplier and purchasing files etc.

Communication – Daily communication direct with customers, factories and logistics teams.

Skills – essential 

• Exceptional administration and organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise and think ahead

• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail

• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc

• Team player, enthusiastic and someone that will be happy mucking in

• Great interpersonal and communications skills • Ability to effectively self-manage

• Positive and proactive

• Bright, keen to learn with a sense of humour

• Passionate about delivering superb customer service and to enjoy doing so

• Ability to work under pressure caused by seasonal concentration of activity

• Educated to degree level (preferred)
