This established international womenswear supplier is recruiting for a Junior Account Manager for its London office.  You will be part of a multi-functional team dedicated to the design, development and production of womenswear for high volume, grocery and fashion retailers. 

This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast paced commercial office with showrooms and owned offshore manufacturing!

Junior Account Manager - Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with customer / accounts on all aspects of buying cycle and being first point of contact from the customer, dealing with all queries.
  • Management of critical path from sampling through to bulk production to FOB or landed date. Ensure production/delivery is on time.
  • Working with the design team to create ranges for each season /customer, with mini ranges in-between seasons ensuring levels of business and development of each account to grow business.
  • Working on costings with dept on products. Looking where we can get savings and be competitive.
  • Meetings with fabric suppliers looking at ranges, prices, lead-times.
  • Working closely with the factories on getting prices and better lead-times.
  • Ensuring all approvals on fabrics and linings are signed off on a timely basis
  • Working with offshore teams to develop/source new fabric, competitive prices
  • Ensuring all paperwork and submissions are correctly organised

Junior Account Manager - Skills and Requirements:

  • Educated to degree standard
  • Three years plus relevant experience in the clothing industry
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills & accurate and attentive to manage the detail.
  • A confident, proactive approach, capable of working effectively in a team under pressure in a demanding fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in MSOffice: EXCEL is essential.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
