Are you a creative individual with a passion for design and a feminine trend led handwriting?
This role is with a hugely successful womenswear brand, they are seeking a talented senior womenswear designer for a FTC. You will be part of a super creative, friendly team, based in Central London. You will be hands on with design, bringing newness, as well as collating seasonal trends and working with the brand founder and trend forecasters to develop seasonal stories, looks and hero products.
This is initially a one-year contract.
Senior Womenswear Designer - One Year Contract - Key Responsibilities:
- Create compelling, trend-led designs that elevate and bring seasonal newness.
- Design and develop core womenswear collections with a feminine style.
- Build and manage cohesive ranges of products from concept through to production.
- Work with the Technical Designers & PD teams to produce detailed tech packs and follow the sampling process with factory partners.
- Ensure that all designs align with the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards.
Senior Womenswear Designer - One Year Contract - Requirements:
- Solid experience with Trend Led Womenswear collections at premium high street, or luxury level. Proficient in creating beautiful CADs, hand sketches, and tech packs.
- Confident working with factories through the sampling and production process.
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrics, and construction
- Ideally you will have experience with structured dresses, cup sizes and boning, but this is not essential.
- Creative, self-motivated, and driven to elevate the brand’s product offer.
