Recruiting now! We are recruiting for an experienced Customer Service/ Sales Administrator to work for a well-established group of apparel, hosiery and footwear brands based in Nottingham.
To provide high quality service delivery to a mix of D2C and D2B customers including multi channel trade retailers/online and independents and the public/consumer. This position will also provide high level support to the internal teams including sales and warehousing.
To carry out defined customer service transaction and added value services, and to create/amend/delete all data to quality standards.
Customer Service / Sales Administrator - The Role
- A key member of a busy UK customer service support team, reporting to the Customer Service Manager, and to ensure the smooth running of the department and the customer accounts.
- Input sales orders onto the system, checking for detail, prices & quantities.
- Co-ordinating and monitoring the progress of customer orders.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers are regularly updated, and orders are delivered right first time, to agreed lead times and expectations.
- Ensure all goods despatched are invoiced correctly.
- Work with the sales team with in-season trading, to control and manage call off and replenishment orders and handle any ad hoc enquiries.
- To carry out additional duties to engage with customers to generate orders/repeat business and develop relationships.
Customer Service / Sales Administrator - The Candidate
- 12-18mths experience within a similar customer service or sales administration support. Preferably with previous knowledge of fashion or apparel.
- Ability to work as a team member, and individually.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).
- Problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
- Microsoft Office proficiency ie. EXCEL and experience of database/EDI software.
- Accurate and attentive to detail. Good & efficient time management
- A professional demeanour and good telephone manner
- Results driven. Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure.
- Be able to follow projects through and work to deadlines.
