This role calls for an experienced Graphic Designer with a fire in their belly to work hard to get results - and ultimately progress. I am looking for this Designer to work across girls, boys, mens and womenswear, for a fantastic opportunity based in Leicester

You will be designing trend driven, non-licensed prints which will be graphic placements as well as some all over, repeat and sublimation etc. Prints are for multi-product apparel, mainly for jersey fabrics for a large high street retail customer. Bringing newness and creative ideas to the table is key!

Graphic/Print Designer (Apparel) – The Role:

  • You will design prints for commercial, fashion focussed mens and womenswear as well as boys and girlswear collections for one of their largest and most exciting high street accounts.
  • You will be creating placement print designs and AOP.
  • Researching and identifying latest key trends, catwalks influences to inspire and develop new ranges, and to compliment and drive forward existing product lines.
  • You will liaise with customer as well as our in house garment designers to develop product that is right for the customer.
  • You will be working in a busy, fast paced environment.
  • Working closely with buying and merchandising teams to source, present and select commercial ranges.

Graphic/Print Designer (Apparel) - The Candidate:

  • This position requires previous graphic design/print experience working within trend led fashion apparel.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience within across all product areas and categories.
  • Candidates with between 3 and 5 years will be considered for this opportunity.
  • Ideal candidate will have a design related Degree.
  • You will be a well organised, confident communicator, experienced in managing priorities and liaising with internal teams and external suppliers etc.
  • Proficient on Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, adaptable to change and able to work closely with buyers and present your idea's, requiring a confident, 'can do' attitude to your work.
  •  Have experience of working closely with overseas factories.
  • You must also be an effective communicator & team player to step into this challenging role and be confident at building good internal and external relationships.
  • Happy to travel offshore to visit factories as and when required.
