Job Description

This well respected globally renowned British brand are looking to recruit an International Sales Executive, you will play a key role in the Franchise team that oversees the business in 20 countries.

The main objectives of the role are to undertake seasonal showroom sales appointments to achieve financial goals, support customers to achieve strong sell-through of seasonal collections and liaise with customers to maintain a high standard of the brand presentation.

International Sales Executive – Responsibilities

  • Working with the Head of Franchise on all aspects of business within the markets of given responsibility.
  • To collate seasonal forward order budgets from customers, conduct sales appointments to achieve the set sales targets and to ensure orders are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • With assistance from the Franchise Sales Support team, arrange seasonal buying appointments and present seasonal collections to customers.
  • To compile and present monthly sales reports and KPIs on each market to communicate with the management and key stakeholders in the business.
  • To ensure a high standard of brand operation, collaborating with Marketing, Press and the Visual Merchandising teams to implement the businesses institutional brand strategy.
  • To liaise with the Shop Design Team to facilitate new store openings, refurbishment, or relocation.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Control team to ensure that regular payments are being received.
  • To work with each collection department to gain an understanding of product lines on a seasonal basis to deliver collection appointments, produce seasonal product training guide manuals and deliver franchisees’ retail staff training.
  • To undertake store visits to monitor the standard of the operation and to deliver product and brand training to the store staff.
  • In collaboration with the Franchise Sales Support team, to monitor and ensure the delivery of seasonal collections in each market to maximise the delivery of seasonal orders to customers.
  • To compile post trip reports after market visits, identifying action required and follow up promptly with any points to be improved on.
  • To collate seasonal collection feedback from customers and to communicate with the design team.
  • Provide analysis on seasonal buy per region, bestseller, and other market insights of the market to Head of Franchise and the team.
  • Monitor the key terms of business contracts are respected by customers.

International Sales Executive – Essential Experience and Skills

  • 2-3 years previous experience working in a Wholesale or Franchise position within the fashion industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Confident in compiling reports on sales information.
  • Confident in dealing with customers and speaking to a large audience.
  • Proven experience of successful product training in the fashion industry.

International Sales Executive – The Candidate

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with people at all levels of the business.
  • Highly systematic, numerate, and analytical, able to work to set deadlines in a speedy and accurate manner.
  • Excellent telephone manner and proven customer service skills.
  • Good understanding of diversity and cultural sensitivity.
  • Self-motivated and able to work using initiative while remaining calm under pressure.
  • Flexible over working hours and able to travel internationally when required.
