Job Description

This opportunity is recruiting for experience in order and inventory management, logistics and production planning.

You will be the person to keep the team on track to finish projects, shipments and orders. The role is primarily based around order, logistics and production planning, to ensure the company achieves time the critical path deadlines for all orders and production. Being able to understand alot of moving timeframes and stay organized is an essential part of this.

Hybrid working can be considered, providing based within reasonable commute of the office.

Logistics & Order Manager – The Job Description

  • Order book management
  • Production, Logistics and Resource planning
  • Providing reporting to stakeholders & progress updates
  • Demand forecasting
  • Inventory management
  • Process import as well as export orders and the respective shipping processes
  • Procurement of raw materials/stock
  • Monitor all supplier performance and evaluate all orders
  • Monitor and evaluate all order issues and resolve discrepancies in production
  • Monitor and process all returns according to ensure compliance - QC
  • Coordinating with warehouse for arranging deliveries
  • Working with the Sales Team to collaboratively forecast and plan customer shipments
  • Coordinating with the admin team on all purchasing invoices
  • Investigating and resolving all shipping issues including short-ships, damages, mis-shipments and lost goods
  • Providing reporting to sales team on open orders, shipments and backlog

Logistics & Order Manager – The Person Specification

  • Experience within similar inventory, or supply chain or order management position (min. 3years).  Background in logistics and shipping.
  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes (from an apparel or textiles)
  • IT literacy, skills in Excel
  • Understanding of risk management in the context of the supply chain
  • Inventory Management  & Supplier Management
  • Good time management ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines
  • Highly organised – with a logical and systematic approach to work
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • An effective communicator at all levels within /external to the company
