Long-established international clothing manufacturer is recruiting for a Merchandiser to support a Senior Account Manager in managing day to day key customer accounts. Part of a multi-functional team dedicated to the design, development and production of multi category menswear.

This is a full time position, offering hybrid working + comprehensive benefits package + 25 days holiday per annum in addition to bank holidays.

Merchandiser – The Job Outline

• Plan factory capacities in advance of season
• Manage production from order placement through to delivery
• Attend customer meetings from design brief through to weekly work meetings to discuss any issues & to continue to build good relationships
• Daily communication with buying offices/factories.
• Manage/create seasonal critical paths, delivery flows & order books.
• Work with team to drive timely approvals against deadlines and resolve delays before they impact on launch
• Liaise with fabric mills on initial prices, greige bookings, delivery schedules.

Merchandiser – The Person Specification

• Educated to Degree standard
• Previous experience with a similar supplier merchandising/production role (min. 2years)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A confident, proactive approach capable of working effectively in a team under pressure in a demanding fast paced environment
• Ability to interact effectively with suppliers and colleagues at all levels.
