Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join an established business producing trend and concept artworks for licensee’s and retailers.

You will work on original illustration, repeat and placement prints and also character licence and we are looking for a feminine and versatile handwriting.

This is a creative and varied role which will see you involved in concept development though to embellishment and packaging design, you will be equally confident on illustrator and Photoshop.

 

Print & Graphic Designer – The Job Outline:

  • To create concepts that are innovative and on-brand, and will deliver across a diverse mix of branded properties, across all demographics and market sectors.
  • To accurately interpret and represent the brand DNA/ handwriting as well as their expectations and requirements.
  • Creating original prints & patterns, and bringing fresh ideas to licenses to develop new looks for apparel, accessories, home textiles, packaging and much more
  • Producing high standard CADs for presentation, trend books and style guides
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues on joint projects
  • To produce artwork to finished standard and in line with in-house studio process.
  • Maintaining an awareness of latest production techniques, applications and finishes.

Print & Graphic Designer – The Person Specification:

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Creative flair, originality and artistic ability.
  • A strong interest in print, textiles, fashion and related product.
  • A great eye for colour, pattern, texture, embellishment and fabric.
  • Excellent CAD skills. Highly competent using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Licensing / Brand experience a real advantage.
  • Proven trend forecasting skills as well as a commercial eye, and an understanding of different markets and demographics.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team with strong communication skills.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to remain calm and supportive under pressure.
  • Professional integrity and the ability to work to tight deadlines with accuracy and consistency.
  • Must drive due to rural location.
