Job Description

We are recruiting for an exceptional Sales Account Manager, who is very ambitious and will seize opportunities to ‘make things happen’ and be prepared to adapt and learn to an evolving marketplace. Able to develop commercially viable ranges and forge strong customer/supplier relationships, and deliver service excellence. Our client is an established and profitable jersey based supplier looks to nurture longevity and talent!.  

Sales Account Manager - The Role

  • To proactively develop & manage business with existing retailers/e-tailers,
  • To drive business growth opportunities for new /additional revenue.
  • To work closely with design and product development to develop innovative and commercial ranges, and ensure customer standards are met.
  • To be commercially aware of latest key trends/research and proactively develop product for presentation to customers
  • Negotiate & agree prices and deliveries with buyers and suppliers.
  • To ensure effective communication with the customer and supplier from concept stage to confirmation of order, approvals and to delivery.
  • Oversee the critical path throughout the lifecycle of the process from concept/order to delivery.

Sales Account Manager - The Candidate

  • Relevant experience within a similar Sales/Account Management position within apparel supply environment
  • Ability to drive and develop successful working relationships with customers, to deliver rewarding business and achieve sales targets.
  • Solid understanding of the supply/manufacturing process.
  • A knowledge of licensing would be beneficial.
  • Commercially astute, highly organised and analytically minded
  • Exceptional communicator with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Trend/design awareness and ability to use initiative to achieve results
  • Positive 'can do' attitude, adaptable, proactive, enthusiastic and prepared to get involved
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • A team player, with a sense of humour who will thrive on a challenge.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to travel UK and offshore as required.
