Women’s and Menswear Senior Buyer                          

Dubai

Salary DOE (Tax Free Salary with Ex Pat Package)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident Senior Buyer to join an impressive business with a key retailer in the middle east. You will be responsible for buying and developing the given category and ensuring smooth buying cycles and supplier management. You will also be involved in developing the strategic buying plans and budgets.

The Role:

• Determine budget and buying plan and OTB seasonally.
• Work with planning and merch teams using mock shops to ensure buy is cost effective and commercial.
• Manage the supply base and develop new relationships, negotiate the best prices and lead times.
• Gather and present trend and market intel.
• Work closely with the Design teams to develop trend led commercial ranges.
• Mange the critical path and sample development cycle to ensure on time launches.
• Support VM with launches and product push samples and buying plans.

 The Candidate:

• Minimum of 8 years in buying experience role covering both Men’s and Women’s Wear. 
• Ability to travel as required.
• You will have a strong personality and an ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment.
• You will be an excellent communicator and team player.
• You will be an expert user of Excel, pivot tables and V-look ups.
• You will be based FULL TIME in Dubai.
