A well-known Premium luxury brand is expanding!

 

They are looking to appoint their next hire into their Buying team, whereby they are looking for an Assistant Buyer. You will be passionate about their brand, as well as being organised and show a willingness to learn.

 

The ideal candidate will be working at Trainee Buyer or early AB level. You will be working across either High-End High Street/ Premium sector.

 

 

Assistant Buyer- The Role

  • Placing re-cut orders for bestsellers and updating the re-cut tracker
  • Managing pre-order stock and working closely with the Ecommerce team to ensure the correct dispatch dates are listed online for pre-order styles
  • Working on the ECOM visual merchandising, ensuring newness and bestsellers are well positioned on the website
  • Collating ECOM and Retail bestsellers and worst sellers ahead of Range Review meetings
  • Creating the ECOM Drops PDF and communicating any launch amendments to all relevant departments
  • Working with the Buyer and Graphics team to select product for newsletters
  • Preparing presentation boards for RRP, ECOM drop launches and Buy sign off meetings ahead of deadline
  • Ensuring line sheets include the correct prices, sizing and product names
  • Adding product key features to the line sheets ahead of launch
  • Conducting competitor analysis, including pricing analysis
  • Providing a clear understanding of the customer to input into product decisions
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues across Design, Ecommerce, Graphics, Merchandising and PR
  • Preparing presentation boards for RRP, Ecom drop launches and Buy sign off meetings ahead of deadline.

 

 

Assistant Buyer- The Person

  • 1-2 years experience as a Buying Assistant/Assistant Buyer, ideally within a fashion brand
  • Passion for product and a desire to learn about the brand and our customer
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with different departments
  • Proficiency in excel and powerpoint
  • Highly organised with attention to detail. Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience using systems or a clear demonstration of the ability to learn to use necessary systems.
