I am partnering with a Womenswear brand, who are looking to add an additional head into their small team based in North London.
This is a rare opportunity, as they are happy to consider someone on a 4 day week.
You will mostly be covering production duties, everything from managing critical paths, raising PO’s, organising deliveries, ordering fabrics and trims and raising PO’s to name but a few.
Due to the nature of the team size, there will also be other adhoc duties included, such as some website maintenance, as well as adding some posts to their social media.
Production & Sampling Coordinator- The Role:
- Communicate with buyers daily
- Calculate garment costings
- Manage the critical path and update the production files with customer orders
- Prepare the sample dockets
- Liaise with fabric mills and suppliers to source and order all raw materials
- Manage the brands fabric and trim library
- Catalogue and track all samples
- Create Bill of Materials for production dockets
- Prepare delivery paperwork for customers as required, organising couriers and managing shipments
- Editing the website, adding products and sending out promotional emails, sending out orders, processing returns
- General office administration
Production & Sampling Coordinator- The Role:
- Must have at least 1 year's experience in a fashion production-focused role
- Able to work well in a high-pressure environment and react to last-minute priority changes.
- Highly organised, adaptable and able to multitask and prioritise
- Able to communicate effectively
- Excel and Photoshop skills
- Experience with Shopify and Mailchimp would be advantageous but not essential
