My client, a well-established supplier with its own brands, are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join their Menswear team and play a key role in overseeing the merchandising and account operations across the business. You will manage a small but highly skilled team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and work directly with customers to deliver exceptional product collections.

5 days in-house

Permanent right to work in the UK is essential.

Senior Account Manager  - Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team that includes, merchandisers, design and garment techs.
  • Manage and nurture key customer accounts from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage.
  • Hold regular customer meetings, take seasonal briefs, and actively seek opportunities to grow and strengthen current business relationships.
  • Collaborate with the design and technical teams to develop and present collections that meet customer expectations.
  • Negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers, ensuring the best value without compromising quality.
  • Monitor and manage sample trackers, ensuring sample development stays on schedule.
  • Present collections to customers, providing expert guidance and product insight.
  • Maintain consistent communication with suppliers and customers to provide regular updates and manage any changes or challenges.
  • Ensure all goods meet brand and customer standards, coordinating with the Tech team on factory audits, compliance, product testing, and AQL reports.
  • Work closely with the logistics team to ensure accurate packing lists, shipping schedules, and product approvals.

Senior Account Manager  - What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in account management or merchandising, with a strong understanding of the product lifecycle from the supply chain.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate a team.
  • Strong negotiation abilities and an understanding of supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
