Working for a leading UK supplier with owned offshore manufacturing, you will work within a multi product design team to create innovative collections for major retailers.

Design Assistant – Womens’ Sportswear - Responsibilities:
- Research and identify emerging trends to inspire new designs and ranges.
- Prepare samples and packs for timely dispatch to clients.
- Organize swatch packs and ensure selections align with customer briefs.
- Update design cribs and sketches for factories and commercial teams.
- Source and order fabrics, match Pantones, and liaise with mills/factories to meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate costings and component details.
- Brief suppliers on new fabrics and follow up for meetings.
- Counter-source fabrics and trims to achieve competitive pricing.
Design Assistant - Skills and Requirements:
- Degree or relevant qualification in fashion or sportswear design.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a similar design assistant role.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; CLO 3D experience is a plus.
- Strong product development knowledge and understanding of garment construction.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
- Experience working with offshore production and supply chains.
