I am working with a highly reputable, and well-known streetwear brand, who are constantly going from strength to strength.

Creating product across all categories, the role of the Designer will be responsible for the design and development of all Womenswear collections. Working with the rest of the team, you will decide concepts and create new designs for both online retail and wholesale.

Womenswear Designer- Sportswear/ Streetwear- The Role

  • Support with the creative direction, colour palette development and design aesthetic for all product ranges alongside the Design & Development Director.
  • Research and analyze current market trends, continuously improving designs to keep the brand relevant.
  • Create seasonal concepts through trend forecast, imagery, comp shopping and data analysis. Designing and developing new product across all menswear apparel collections that align with the brand DNA and market trends.
  • Work closely with the CAD designers to deliver efficient technical files.
  • Attend weekly fit sessions with the Garment Tech team to continuously improve the product.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with the wider team and retail partners for efficient design delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently as well as with the wider team, contributing to a positive and creative team environment. Ensure Critical Path deadlines are met.

Womenswear Designer- Sportswear/ Streetwear- The Person

  • 3+ years’ experience in women’s design within streetwear brands.
  • Strong understanding of women’s fit, fabrication, and silhouette development.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience creating tech packs and working with overseas suppliers.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of target customer.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Understanding of youth culture, music, and sport influences.
