I am partnering with an ever-growing Contemporary WW RTW Brand who are looking to add an additional head into their PD team, due to continued growth!

 

You will be based in their modern central London offices, where you will support the wider development, design and technical teams across their sampling process. You will play an active part in launching new products, sourcing new fabrics and trims, updating systems, working to critical paths, reviewing fabric and trim approvals, as well as supporting across various other adhoc duties.

Junior Product Developer- The Role:

  • Support the end-to-end development of apparel products, from initial concept and research through to final samples and production handover.
  • Assisting with product specifications, coordinating fit sessions, updating tech packs, and tracking samples, fabrics, trims, and lab dips.
  • Close collaboration with design, production, and suppliers to ensure product quality, cost, and timelines are met.
  • Conduct competitive and trend research, prepare development reports, and help maintain accurate product data and documentation.

 

 

Junior Product Developer- The Person:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across design, production, and external partners.
  • Previous experience in Research and Development (R&D) or Product Development, preferably within fashion, textiles, or a related consumer product field.
  • Relevant technical background such as Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related discipline; understanding of materials, construction, and quality standards
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop), with strong Excel skills for product data management.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in contemporary fashion and trends, with a keen eye for design and product detail.
