Description

As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and designs, supporting the development of tech packs and ensuring products are technically ready for manufacturing.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers, translating design concepts, briefs and specifications into clear, detailed and production-ready CADs.

CAD Designer – Mens Streetwear - Responsibilities

  • Create and amend accurate drawings and technical designs from tech packs.
  • Create overviews and supplier overviews from existing CADs.
  • Support the development and preparation of technical packs.
  • Produce detailed drawings for construction and manufacturing. Interpret design briefs, sketches, specifications and measurements.
  • Make amendments and updates to drawings as required.
  • Ensure all drawings meet company standards and project requirements.
  • Work closely with designers, project managers, production teams and suppliers.
  • Prepare drawings and files for manufacturing and production.
  • Check dimensions, materials, finishes and technical details for accuracy. Maintain organised and up-to-date CAD files and project documentation.
  • Ensure all drawings are clearly labelled and issued correctly.
  • Provide technical solutions and support design improvements.
  • Manage deadlines and prioritise work according to project requirements.
  • Identify and resolve design or technical issues before production.

CAD Designer – Mens Streetwear – The Person

  • Experience in CAD design in a fashion brand.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience producing technical drawings and working from tech packs.
  • The ability to interpret sketches, measurements, specifications and design briefs.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively with designers, production teams and suppliers.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
