Mancunian Lauren always knew she wanted to work in fashion since being a child; drawing and making clothes for her dolls.

After completing a Bsc in Textile Technology Lauren ventured into knitwear manufacture learning from the bottom up for both weft and warp knitwear manufacturers. With a career spanning more than 20 years in technical textiles; the majority of which working for designer brand Paul Smith Ltd as head of technology. She specialises in tailoring and soft wovens.  Working in mens, womens and childrens wear, Lauren has worked with a vast range of styles, fabrics and applications.

Lauren built a strong relationship with mills and factories across the world particularly in the luxury European fabric market working with a wide range of natural fibres from selection to performance and application.

She has a vast knowledge of textile science and international legislation working with counterparts across continents.

As an experienced people manager, she has managed large diverse teams. She is now also qualified in CIPD level 5 Human Resource Management.

Lauren is a people person and loves to make connections with an open, supportive approach.
