My client is an established supplier to the UK , European High Street, and the USA -they are looking for an experienced CLO3D Design lead to be based in their offices in Leicestershire, UK. This is a growing business with an excellent reputation in the industry that is going from strength to strength, so it’s a great time to join.- This is a full-time , onsite posistion (not remote or Hybrid role.)
CLO 3D Designer - Responsibilities:
- Providing relevant technical support and liaise with product development, marketing, merchandising, pattern-making and production teams, Handle 3D fashion design and development with internal departments and external clients; Identify customers’ needs and provide appropriate design advice;
- Handling CLO 3D project from design, development to produce 3D production sketches across menswear, womenswear and accessories;
- Develop 3D samples and seasonal collection for customers
- Responsible for maintaining 3D libraries of basic blocks, fabrics, trims and artworks;
- Capable of creating and modified 2D design concept from clients to 3D garments independently; translating designs from merchandising team and R&D team into 3D samples;
- Assisting the team members to solve 3D development and production issue;
- Responsible for fitting approval, size set, pattern and technical problem solving;
- Handle any other ad-hoc duties as required.
CLO 3D Designer - Requirements:
- Must have excellent previous and relevant experience.
- Degree / Higher Diploma in Fashion Design / Cad
- UK and European fashion market experience preferably leading European brands or retailers;
- Advanced experience in using CLO 3D software
- Solid experience in pattern making;
- Good knowledge in CAD (Adobe Suite), Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and MS Office;
- Strong communication skills to communicate efficientlySelf-motivated, flexible, energetic with creative and good fashion sense.
