We’re excited to be working with a globally recognised brand who are looking to expand their team with a talented Product Developer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across their sports apparel division, collaborating closely with the Design team to bring innovative products to life. You’ll be at the heart of the product development process, ensuring designs are executed to the highest standards and delivered on time.
The Role: Apparel Product Developer – Branded Sportswear
- Support the Men’s and Women’s Product Developers with day-to-day operations.
- Oversee all aspects of product development including costings, supplier communication, and approvals.
- Collaborate with the Design team to ensure creative concepts are translated into commercially viable products.
- Manage key milestones across the critical path, including tech pack submissions, fit sessions, proto/sample stages, and production approvals.
- Liaise with global suppliers, ensuring accuracy across tech packs, line lists, labels, and CAD uploads.
- Approve lab dips, print strike-offs, embroideries, and other key design elements.
- Support multiple product categories and seasons simultaneously, ensuring consistency across men’s and women’s ranges.
- Assist in the management of samples, catalogues, and operator meetings.
The Person: Apparel Product Developer – Branded Sportswear
- Experience in apparel product development within sportswear, activewear, or athleisure (across both menswear and womenswear).
- Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting, performance fabrics, and finishing details.
- Competence in Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with the ability to amend CADs, tech packs, and fittings.
- Experience working with Far East suppliers and managing wholesale business models.
- A strong background in fit sessions, fabric development, and critical path management
