We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Manchester fashion brand as a Product & Account Manager in a varied role spanning product development, wholesale, and ecommerce.
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and commercially minded individual to work in a fast-paced, hands-on role that touches every stage of the product journey, from trend research and product development through to managing wholesale accounts, marketplace listings, logistics, and payments.
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, thrives on building strong supplier and customer relationships, and has a keen eye for product and process.
Product and Account manager - Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Research
- Conduct trend and market research to inform product development.
- Build trend packs, colour packs, and product ranges aligned with company strategy.
- Carry out competitor shopping to benchmark against other retailers.
Sample Management
- Place and track sample orders with factories.
- Review, fit, and provide feedback on samples.
- Photograph and catalogue samples for internal records.
Team Communication & Organisation
- Keep marketing updated with product launches and arrivals.
- Complete marketing sheets with product details.
- Assist with photoshoot planning, styling, and model selection.
- Support social media filming and product content.
Pricing & Orders
- Request and negotiate cost prices with factories.
- Confirm profitability before placing orders.
- Ensure marketplace pricing is accurate and up to date.
Critical Path & Supply Chain Management
- Maintain and manage the company’s critical path.
- Chase factories to ensure timely production and delivery.
- Track stock movements and highlight risks.
Marketplace & Account Management
- Maintain and upload stock in Linnworks, ensuring best sellers are replenished.
- Analyse sales and returns performance.
- Manage integration across all sales channels.
- Work directly with parners /Customers: planning ranges, uploading product data, and managing promotions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and account teams.
Wholesale Management
- Drive new business and manage existing wholesale customers.
- Liaise with freelance designers to prepare CADs for developments.
- Handle cost negotiations, sales order placement, and compliance testing.
- Book FOB shipments and prepare shipping paperwork.
Logistics & Warehouse Support
- Obtain competitive freight and courier rates.
- Monitor air and sea schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Support the warehouse team with order fulfilment and returns when needed.
Payments & Finance
- Track and schedule payments to factories.
- Update payment and sales order sheets.
- Liaise with management regarding payment timelines.
Product and Account Manager - Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in fashion buying, merchandising, or account management.
- Confident in liaising with factories and wholesale customers.
- Commercially minded with an eye for product.
- Knowledge of Linnworks and marketplace platforms (ASOS, Debenhams, etc.) is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
