Description

Reebok are looking for a highly commercial and hands-on Retail Merchandiser to take full ownership of assortment planning, inventory management, and in-store execution across their factory outlet stores in Paris and Amsterdam.

This role combines strategic planning with day-to-day trading ownership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building the right assortment, driving inventory turns, managing pricing and discounting, and ultimately maximising sell-through and margin recovery in an outlet environment.

Retail Merchandiser- Outlet- The Role:

P&L Ownership & Store Performance

  • Own and deliver the full P&L performance for both outlet stores
  • Drive sales, margin, and profitability in line with budget and forecast targets
  • Identify risks and opportunities and take proactive actions to close gaps
  • Work closely with store teams to ensure strong commercial execution and KPI delivery

Assortment Planning & Buying

  • Build and manage outlet-specific assortment plans aligned with commercial targets and inventory availability
  • Own buying decisions, ensuring the right product mix to maximize sell-through and margin
  • Balance depth vs. breadth across categories, sizes, and price points
  • Continuously refine assortment based on trading performance and stock opportunities

Inventory Planning & Replenishment

  • Own inventory planning across both stores, ensuring optimal stock levels
  • Drive inventory turns through effective allocation and stock management
  • Plan and execute replenishment to stores, ensuring the right products are in the right location at the right time
  • Monitor sell-through, stock cover, and aging inventory; take action to mitigate slow-moving stock

Pricing, Markdown & Discount Strategy

  • Develop and execute pricing architecture for the outlet channel
  • Own markdown and discounting strategy, including promotional cadence and clearance activity
  • Optimize margin recovery while maintaining strong sell-through
  • Ensure pricing consistency and accuracy across both locations

Trading & Performance Analysis

  • Monitor daily and weekly trading performance across both stores
  • Track and analyse key KPIs (sales, margin, sell-through, stock turn, conversion)
  • Produce trading reports with clear, actionable insights and recommendations

Visual Merchandising & Store Execution

  • Own visual merchandising strategy and execution across both stores
  • Partner with store teams to implement commercial layouts and product storytelling
  • Ensure clear communication of promotions, pricing, and key product focus
  • Conduct regular store visits to maintain high VM and operational standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with supply chain, warehouse, and brand teams to manage stock flow and intake
  • Align on product strategy, inventory opportunities, and commercial priorities
  • Support and influence store teams to drive performance and execution

General Support

  • Assist the CSO and Head of Merchandising with inventory management, product masterdata management, commercial reviews, and management reporting.

Retail Merchandiser- Outlet- The Person:

  • Must have previous experience in retail merchandising, preferably in outlet or off-price environments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
  • Proven experience in inventory planning, pricing, and markdown management
  • Commercial mindset with a strong understanding of retail KPIs
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
