I am currently working with a well-known brand, who are seeking a talented Sales Manager to join their Central London office. This is a chance to be part of a forward-thinking team that values creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

As a Sales Manager, you will have the autonomy to lead and inspire a team of dedicated sales professionals. Your strategic vision and leadership will drive the team to exceed targets and deliver results. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and driving business growth. You will also be able to identify market trends and opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales management, ideally coming working within a Womenswear branded market. You will have a deep understanding of the sales process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

The position is on a 9mth FTC, with the opportunity to be extended.

 

Sales Manager- 9mth FTC- The Role:

  • Lead and manage the sales team, driving performance across all sales channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, distributors, and agents, ensuring regular communication, contract renewals, and aligned business plans.
  • Forecast seasonal sales plans and margins across all sales channels, presenting quarterly reviews to Directors.
  • Deliver seasonal performance analysis to internal teams, highlighting key learnings and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop seasonal range plans, including SKU counts and target price architecture, in collaboration with the Design team.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with new and existing accounts, including shipping agreements, trade discounts, mark-ups, and payment terms.
  • Manage stock levels and trading activity to optimise inventory performance and minimise excess stock, including coordinating clearance strategies with off-price partners.
  • Set RRPs across all currencies based on market research, competitor analysis, and sales feedback.
  • Create and manage margin sheets for UK, EU, distributor, and sourcing channels (with and without royalties), securing Director sign-off ahead of each season.
  • Plan and execute bi-annual seasonal sales launches, coordinating schedules, logistics, and partner attendance alongside the Marketing team.
  • Develop and update brand presentation decks in line with seasonal launches.
  • Partner with the Merchandising team to place seasonal eCommerce buys.
  • Oversee marketing campaign planning, including creative direction, model casting, shoot locations, concepts, final imagery, and budgets, ensuring campaigns remain commercially aligned for all partners.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaign launches and eCommerce activations to drive engagement and brand momentum.
  • Participate in all design review stages to ensure collections align with range plans, commercial objectives, and best-selling product categories.
  • Work closely with the Creative and Design teams to refine collections through analytical and commercial insights.
  • Maintain daily communication with Operations to monitor sales order progress, including deliveries, payments, purchase orders, and cancellations.
  • Lead brand collaboration projects from initial concept through to negotiation, business planning, and execution.
  • Define and implement brand strategy to maintain market relevance and drive long-term growth.
  • Support future retail initiatives, including kiosks, pop-ups, and stores, covering design execution and stock planning.
  • Represent the brand in meetings and presentations with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with authentic brand owners and licensors.

 

 

Sales Manager- 9mth FTC- The Role:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role and industry.
  • UK & European market experience and knowledge of market opportunity in luxury contemporary space.
  • Proven track record of success in sales management within the fashion industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, data analysis, and reporting. Analytical skills are a must.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and business plans.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management principles.
  • Knowledge of the fashion industry, including market trends, competitor landscape, and customer preferences.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
