We are seeking an experienced talented and creative Licensed Graphic Apparel / Boyswear Designer to join a dynamic team within a Leading brand & licensing company, based either in their Leicestershire or London offices.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating ideas into visually appealing licence designs, staying up to date with the latest fashion trends, responsible for trend research, designing and development of the products, and providing integral support with the factories, but also the wider design team and ensuring that all apparel designs meet the highest quality standards.
Boyswear Designer - Licensed Apparel - The Role :
- A strong commitment to staying updated on fashion trends, licences and printing techniques is essential.
- Proficiency in creating visually compelling trend and mood boards.
- Ability to design according to specific buyer briefs and adapt to various style preferences.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of apparel printing techniques and garment construction
- Experience in working closely with approvals teams to ensure design compliance
- Expertise in creating comprehensive tech packs.
Boyswear Designer - Licensed Apparel- The Candidate
- Previous licensing experience
- Mid - senior level
- degree level in fashion, or fashion related graphic / print design
- Creative and trend driven
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team player and able to build relationships
- Applicants must have full and permanent Right to Work status in the UK.
Software Knowledge Required:
- Adobe Illustrator / Adobe Photoshop
- Microsoft Excel / Microsoft PowerPoint / Microsoft Word
